Double Cream 

A gouda cheese produced in Holland.  Additional cream is added to the milk to make the cheese smooth and creamy with a mild gouda flavor.  

Food Pairing:  melted over bread, in sauces, omelets, potatoes or Mac n’ Cheese

Wine/Beer Pairing: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Pinot Gris or Sauvignon Blanc, light ale

Beemster Vlaskaas 

A cow’s milk gouda made in the Netherlands.  This Gouda is aged for 6-9 months and is sweet with a sharp finish.  It has a toasty, butterscotch, nutty flavor. 

Food Pairing: grilled cheese, with apples & walnuts

Wine/Beer Paring: Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon Blanc, pale ales

Prima Donna Maturo

A 1 year aged gouda made in Holland.  The aging process has concentrated the flavor and formed tiny salty protein crystals. The Italian style cheese culture gives the Prima Donna a sweeter taste than regular Gouda.

Food Paring:  mushrooms, beef dishes, risotto, salads, omelet

Wine/Beer Pairing: Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Syrah, Zinfandel, brown ale, Scotch ale, Imperial stout

Beemster XO

A two-year aged Gouda made in Holland.   It is a hard and crumbly cheese known for its butterscotch, pecan and whisky flavor.  It is studded with crunchy protein crystals and is packed with flavor.  This is a crowd pleaser.  

Food Pairing: olives, honey, figs or nuts

Wine/Beer Pairing: Merlot, Pinot Noir, Zinfandel, dark ale

Roomano Pradera 

A Gouda cheese produced in Holland and aged for 3 years.  This cheese has a caramel sweet flavor.  Can be used as an alternative to Parmigiano Reggiano

Food Pairing:  potatoes, apples, marcona almonds, dried fruits, nuts

Wine/Beer Pairing: Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, German and Austrian white wine, brown ale, port


A smoked gouda cheese produced in Michigan.  This delectable cheese has been hickory cold smoked in the traditional Dutch farmhouse manner which forms its distinctive natural brown rind.  Smoked Gouda is buttery, mild with a slightly sweet caramel undertone. The hickory smoke flavor is subtle and yet pronounced.  Sensational with beer!

Food Pairing: cherries, apricots, tart apples, nuts, mustard, dark chocolate, sandwiches, burgers

Wine/Beer Pairing: Chardonnay, Riesling, bock, brown ale, lager, pale ale, porter, stout
